My new and improved bathroom

So since I am the only person occupying the basement, my mom let me do the bathroom how i wanted it! I found a zebra shower curtain and i love it so much! Karen helped with the idea of pink bows on the towels and stuff but my mom actually did the bows. Aren't they so cute? And the pictures aren't hung up on the wall yet but they will go right above the towel rack. I am still in the process of finding something cute for the sink counter.

Believe it or not, i printed these pictures from the PrintMaster computer program my mom has.

Shaggy Dogs

So these are pretty much my favorite cookies! Or just the easiest to make but i love them. This post is dedicated to Errin Martindale because she inspired me to put it on my blog, haha. Anyways you might know these as "Gorrilla poop" or "No-Bake cookies". So go ahead and give it a try! I don't know how many it makes but i usually double it.

2 cups of sugar
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cube of butter
1/2 cup of milk
4 tablespoons of cocoa

mix ingredients and bring to a full boil or until it melts
remove from heat and add:

3 cups of oats
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
1/2 cup of peanut butter

now mix all these together and spoon on to wax paper
and let them cool until they harden.

Good luck with these if you try them!

For my birthday last year, my friend Melia Mason made me these cookies and made them spell "Hatch a bird Egg" which means happy birthday if ya didn't know.

Glorious rain

It rained!!! A lot actually! I could not resist the urge to go run and play outside in the rain. Cole, Tanner, and me went crazy and played in the puddles and did cartwheels! What else can you expect from a native arizonian? Oh and by the way, if you didn't already know, arizona rain is the best smelling rain ever!

This is one of the most fun things ever! It is like a giant windowwiper thing for your pavement. You just run around pushing it andthe puddles make giant waves!

Bad Watermelon

So my watermelon didn't turn out as great as it was supposed to. It looked so delicous on the outside but when i cut it open, most of it was just the rind. but the red part was good i guess.

Bridal Veils

After the reunion, we went to bridal viels waterfall. It was pretty fun. Justin and I hiked up the waterfall and i was barefoot! Then i came back down and Justin went even further! And by it, there was a little shaved ice stand so we got some. Pina Colada was delicous! And isn't Drew just the cutest kid ever?

Lunt Family Reunion

Family picture!
Liesel's wonderful card-making class!
The Price is Right! I was a Barker's beauty along with Taylor and April.
Owen wanted to help in his underwear! This is in the theater room.

The group that went to do babtisms for the dead. Thanks Karen for letting me borrow your really cute dress. Don't make fun of me, we made apple smiles!

The reunion was super fun! I got to know a lot of the Lunt side better. I am happy that Shauna, Justin, Owen, Drew, Brent, and Errin could make it but really sad that none of my other siblings (other than Cole) could go. Owen and Drew are the cutest kids ever! I love them so much! The mansion was so cool and a great place for everyone to stay! I went to Mount Timpanagos Temple to do babtisms and that was very spiritual. We had fun classes like cooking, and card-making. Also, Brent brought his wii and i loved playing that in free time! The thater room was so cool! it was meant to look like an egyptian tomb and it was really nice. I'd say this was one of the best reunion ever, thanks mom for planning it all!

EFY!

So EFY was AMAZING! Even though 9 out of 11 girls in my group were from my school, i still had so much fun! Most of the friends i made were guys. My testimony grew so much! And i love reading the scriptures now, and i feel like i really want to be a missionary and i don't know how anyone could live with out the church in their life. It was stressful getting there (my mom accidentally scheduled the plane a month off and there were no other planes open so we had to drive up that night). But it was defiently worth it! And i am so grateful that my family tried so hard and got me up there in time. I took lots of notes at EFY and i love them, and i had a great session director. On the fourth of july we laid out in the grass and watched fireworks at the stadium of fire which was a lot of fun. And all the dances were so fun! I am just so happy that i could go and i could afford to go! i am definetly going nest year!

This is my Whole group. Our name was "Bring to Pass".
There was two girls to one guy.
These are some of my school friends that were in my group.
Jessica, Lindsay, Savannah, Ashlie, Me, Sara Ashlie and me with a really creepy statue. Who knows why it is on BYU campus.
Ashlie was the best roommate ever! She is so fun and nice and hilarious!
I am so happy that i went with her!

I love this picture. The guys were really nice in my group.
They held all the girls for them to get a picture.
